Freely

Help & support

Stuck, or found something that looks wrong? A support address is being set up; until then, use the Help guide inside Freely (the ? in Settings or the sidebar). When you do write, say what you did, what you expected and what happened instead, and whether you were on the website, the phone app or the desktop app. A real person reads every message.

How do I add a task?

Type it in plain words. "Call the dentist tomorrow 3pm", "pay rent every month" or "essay draft friday" become a task with the right date, time and repeat. Mention a list name and it files itself there: "essay for school" goes into your "school" list.

How do I share a list view-only?

Open the list, choose Share and enter the person's e-mail address or a saved nickname. View only is the default, so leave it as it is. You can add an end date (a week, a month, three months or a day you pick); when it passes, their access ends on its own.

How do I find a deleted task?

Open Recently deleted in the sidebar. Deleted tasks wait there for 30 days on every device. Tap Restore to bring one back, or Delete now to remove it for good.

How do I use Freely offline?

Nothing to set up. Each device keeps its own copy, so Freely opens without a connection and any change you make is queued and sent in order when you are back online. On the website, open Freely once while online first so your browser has it saved; the phone and desktop apps carry it already.

How do I move a task into Morning, Afternoon or Evening?

In My Day, drag the task from Not placed yet into the part of the day you want. Nothing is placed until you drag it. An unfinished task carries into tomorrow in the same part.

The full tour lives inside Freely: open the ? guide from Settings or the sidebar for every screen, gesture and shortcut.
